![]() ![]() Are there going to be significant issues to look for/ be aware of on older MIC Casinos? Given my large hands, do most reissue Casinos made over the last 20 years (or so) have normal width, relatively chunky necks? ![]() I'll be stringing it up with 12's with mostly low to medium gain drive sounds. I'd prefer to stick with something under $1000 & would be using it in a gigging environment with an AC30. I recently tried a new MIC Epi Casino (unplugged) & really liked it. I've already expressed my doubts about being able to adapt to the Ric 330's narrow neck in my earlier post but that great Ric tone still has me thinking. Given my REM fixation, a Ric is still is a contender but I'm becoming more & more intrigued by the Epiphone Casino in all its various incarnations. However, I still find myself wanting to try something semi hollow to be used for Rhythm playing in the "power pop(ish)" vein of Peter Buck, Alex Chilton, Mathew Sweet & Jeff Tweedy. A few weeks ago I inquired about Buying a Ric 330 vs Jazzmaster & wound up buying a Classic Player JM which I've been very happy with.
